mila-fever
-excuse the blurry, bing isnt the most reliable source for pictures. Mila Kunis, (That 70's show, Family Guy, Forgetting Sarah Marshall) is Ukrainian born and 28 years old. and probably the most beautiful person ever. the top picture is what i'm going to try (and maybe fail) to copy. make up wise. wish me luck
GCSE results tomorrow, always a good one. sick feeling is creeping up my stomach, think i'd better go to bed and stop thinking about it or i might cry. oh well, see how it all goess. good luck to you if your also going to get results tomorrow, i have the deepest sympathy for you

love is what you want
"Tracey Emin is one of Britain’s most celebrated contemporary artists. This major survey exhibition covers every period of her career, revealing facets of the artist and her work that are often overlooked. The exhibition features painting, drawing, photography, textiles, video and sculpture, in works that are by turns tough, romantic, desperate, angry, funny and full of longing. Seldom-seen early works and recent large-scale installations are shown together with a new series of outdoor sculptures created especially for the Hayward Gallery.
Since the early 1990s, Emin (b.1963) has used her own life as the starting point for her art, exposing the most harrowing and intimate details of her personal history. Sometimes confrontational or sexually provocative, her work resonates with the ‘personal political’ legacy of feminist art while at the same time speaking to relationships in general. Disarmingly frank and yet often profoundly private, much of Emin’s art – as this show makes clear – is also animated by her playful and ironic wit.
This show features works containing explicit images and words. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult."

Grassssssssssyx
Saturday, 23 July, in a kind of secret little field in St Ouens bay, Jersey saw Seasick Steve, Arrested Development, Ben Howard and many, many more grace the stage at Grassroots, "Your Boutique Summer Festival with Soul". It completly lived up to its highhighhigh expectations and was litrally the most perfect day any one could have imagined, full of wonderful music, people, sites and even sunshine. One of the highlights of my day must have been seeing ben howard, who was on quite early and really set the standard, as he was pure magic and later i almost cried when i met him and got his autograph. what a great guy.
So, it was, in my books one of the most beautiful days, and an incredible start to the summer. i'm already sooo excited for next year, and hoping it will be as good. if you haven't managed to ever get down, i urge you to go next time, it was pure gorgeous, and now we have the rest of the summer to look forward to.xxxx

update: died my hair again, dark this time. was getting a bit sick of roots and so opted for a colour that makes me look much older aqnd makes my eyes stand out more.
did a spot of macaroon-making this morning, turned out soso fabulous on the third try, from now on though I'll stick to buying from the most perfect little french coffee shop, Coco Rico, as 90pence is not a lot pay for such a lot of lovely.
Another exciting thing going on, reading OK magazine the other day (not really my thing but it worked for the hairdressers) M.I.C's Spencer has been spotted, and is apparently dating, with Topshop hieress Chloe Green, how exciting.
Finally, I am thinking of doing some blogging 'interviews'. What do you think? XXX

beauty
a rare 'beauty' post from me, as there's some really cute things going round at the minute.
Nails are on my mind at the moment, because after managing to get them beautiful and long, in the run up to a particularly nerve-wracking exam i bit them all off. disgusting i know, so i'm planning to get a few gorgeous colours, paint my nails and let them grow again.
